Michelle van Heerden

Michelle van Heerden has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Michelle is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Misteli creative agency l B Corp Certified since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at The Digital Brand Shop from January 2017 to October 2021, where they were actively involved in the creative design process for various projects, managing and guiding junior designers, and ensuring the quality of work sent to clients. Before that, Michelle worked at Syrup Design Studios from October 2015 to December 2016, where they were responsible for planning, building, and designing Wordpress websites for clients. Michelle also worked at Apula South Africa from June 2013 to September 2015 as a Junior Graphic Designer & Digital Assistant, where they handled tasks such as layout & design, creation of corporate identities, and publication design. Michelle's earlier experiences include working as a Junior Graphic Designer at Life is Awesome Studio from June 2012 to May 2013, and as a Freelance Designer at Off The Wall Graphic Design Studio & Gallery from January 2012 to June 2012.

Michelle van Heerden obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design from the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography, graduating in 2011.
