Alka Isac

Alka Isac has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at IBM India Private Limited as a SAP Basis Consultant, where they analyzed database growth and made accurate predictions to ensure safety capacity and data consistency. At Deloitte Consulting from 2017 to 2019, they served as a Senior Data Science Specialist and developed a cognitive tool using rule-based and machine learning approaches. This tool classified client purchase orders and saved time and money. Alka also worked at Ericsson from 2020 to 2023 as a Machine Learning Engineer, contributing to their AI Hub. Recently, they joined Mistplay in 2023 as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Additionally, Alka occupied several positions during their time at Carnegie Mellon University, including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Furthermore, they served as the IEEE Student Branch Chair and achieved international recognition for their leadership.

Alka Isac completed their Master's Degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University in the years 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a B-Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from College in Engineering, Trivandrum from 2009 to 2013. Alka completed Standard XII from St Antony's Public School, Anakkal in the years 2007 to 2009, and Standard X from The Choice School in the years 1997 to 2007.

In addition, Alka Isac obtained several certifications. Alka completed the SAS Base Programming for SAS 9 certification from SAS in July 2016. Alka also received the Big Data Foundations certification from IBM in February 2016, twice from different institutions.
