Matthew Sivaprakasam

Matthew Sivaprakasam is a Master's degree candidate in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Current roles include Graduate Research Assistant at The AirLab at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on self-supervised learning and multi-modal machine learning; Perception Engineer at MIT-PITT-RW, enhancing lidar and camera perception pipelines; and Motion Planning Subteam Co-Lead for the Indy Autonomous Challenge, developing algorithms for an autonomous racecar. Past experiences include internships and research roles at KEF Robotics, M*Modal, and the NSF Center for Space, High-Performance, and Resilient Computing, addressing diverse challenges in autonomy, software engineering, and machine learning applications.
