Mariya Sitnova

VP of Product at MIT Technology Review

Mariya Sitnova is the current head of product at MIT Technology Review. Mariya has previously worked as a senior product manager at Emulate, Inc., an interaction designer at Bose Corporation, a user experience designer at Ecovent Systems, and a design fellow at the Smithsonian Institution. Sitnova has also worked as a mechanical engineering intern at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and as a research engineer in the bioengineering group at Children's National Medical Center. In addition, they have served as a process improvement consultant at Unilever and as a technical intern at W. L. Gore & Associates.

Mariya Sitnova has a Master of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland. Mariya also has certifications from the Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in Pragmatic Management Certified - (PMC-III), Scrum, Inc. in Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Adaptive Path in UX Intensive.
