Amrita Sinharay

Amrita Sinharay is a PhD Scholar at MIT World Peace University, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this, Amrita served as a Project Associate at the National Chemical Laboratory from September 2022 to September 2023, contributing to a government-funded project focused on developing a lateral flow assay for detecting mycotoxins in food and feed products. Amrita also undertook an internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, from March 2022 to June 2022, where a dissertation project on the detection of Candida albicans using silver nanoparticles was conducted. Amrita holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from REVA University (June 2020 - July 2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Bharati Vidyapeeth (2017 - 2020).
