The vice president for human resources (HR) is the senior leader at MIT responsible for leading the human resources organization, which provides strategic guidance, services, and programs in support of MIT’s educational, research, and administrative programs, and is a key driver for developing human resource policy at MIT.

The VP for HR provides senior leadership for all HR functions: Benefits (which includes the MIT Work-Life Center and MIT childcare centers); Communications; Compensation; Employee/Labor Relations and Compliance; HR Technology; MIT Policy; and Strategic Talent Management (Diversity and Inclusion; Learning and Development; Rewards & Recognition; and Staffing and Career Development Services).
