David Enriquez Flores has extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. David currently serves as the Director of International Partnerships at Mitacs, where they lead the operationalization of Mitacs's international strategy by connecting governments, industry, and academia to strengthen Canada's capacity for global innovation. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Workforce Strategies at OTEC - Workforce Innovation, managing and monitoring high-profile national multi-partner projects. David also served as the Director of Operations for Kenya, India, and Ecuador at WE.org, leading the senior-management team in departmental effectiveness and financial performance. Additionally, they managed development programs and Fellowships teams in Sub-Saharan Africa as the Director of Fellowship Programs at Engineers Without Borders Canada. Earlier in their career, they worked for the U.S. Department of State as an Economic Affairs Specialist and Economic Analyst, promoting sustainable development and regional cooperation. David also gained experience in business development and management through roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Fairmont-Raffles-Swissotel, and Accor Plus.
David Enriquez Flores holds a Master's Degree in Sustainability and International Development from Harvard University. David also obtained a Master's Degree in Economic Development from Boston University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Hospitality and Business Management from EHL.
