Rachel Sung is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and market research within the neuroscience and biomedical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Mitacs since August 2018, Rachel previously held roles as a Business Development Specialist and as an Industry Engagement Coordinator at York University. Earlier experience includes positions as an Analyst at Spindle, an Industry Relations Intern at the Ontario Brain Institute, and a Freelance Scientific Translator at Cactus Communications. Rachel’s strong academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. Rachel has also contributed to various consulting projects, enhancing organizational strategies for non-profits and promoting scientific platforms.
