Kay McDowell

Kay McDowell serves as the President and CEO of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce since September 2021. In addition, Kay has extensive experience in various leadership roles at Mitchell since 2011, including Executive Vice President and Vice President of Media and Editorial Services. Previous positions include Senior Strategist at Mitchell Communications Group, Internship and Practicum Director at Lipscomb University, and Independent Public Relations Consultant for numerous organizations. Kay's earlier roles include Public Relations Manager for WONDERS: The Memphis International Cultural Series, Foundation Relations Manager at Ducks Unlimited, Inc., and Account Supervisor at Dye, Van Mol & Lawrence. Kay earned a B.S. degree in Communication with a Public Relations emphasis from Freed-Hardeman University.
