Allison Luffman has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Allison started their career in 2008 as a Database Consultant at Accuma Corporation, where they worked until 2014. Allison then joined Petroleum Service & Calibration, Inc. as an IT Consultant from 2011 to 2016. In 2013, they began working at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams as a Database Administrator/Programmer and later transitioned to the role of Application System Manager in 2018. Alongside their corporate roles, Allison also served as an Adjunct Professor at Lenoir-Rhyne University starting in 2016.

Allison Luffman earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Gardner-Webb University from 2007 to 2009. Allison further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from East Carolina University between 2010 and 2012. Later, they enrolled in Northcentral University in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained the certification "Microsoft Specialist: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8 Development Introduction" from Microsoft in November 2015.
