Beth Thorp is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fashion and image consulting. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Mitchell Thorp Foundation since January 2009, Beth has been instrumental in the organization's initiatives. Previously, Beth served as the Director of Business Development for Worth New York, focusing on luxury women's fashion from December 2013 to February 2015. Before that, Beth was the Chief Executive Officer of Powerful Impressions for over two decades, where coaching clients to enhance their images and messaging was a core focus. Beth also held the role of District Sales Leader at Tanner Inc., successfully managing the San Diego region and achieving recognition in the VIP Circle for outstanding sales and growth. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Illinois Institute of Art.

The sudden onset of a critical medical condition and the devastation it brings to the family, 24/7 care and hardship become a way of life. These pressures present an enormous challenge to the health of the family unit. Aside from the health of their children, statistics show that families in these situations often dissolve, with bankruptcy and family separation as frequent outcomes. MTF comes alongside the families and helps by keeping the family unit together during these desperate times with support through our programs. Loss of income, most often, one of the parents has to quit their job to stay by the child’s bed side and care for them. Single parents cannot afford to give up their income and jeopardize their health insurance. The emotional stress on families tests them beyond their endurance, emotionally and physically. When no other resources are available, Mitchell Thorp Foundation provides urgently needed support by doing so this brings immediate relief to very stressful situations and helps create a sense of normalcy and improved quality of life in the family environment. Our success in preserving the family unit is 100% of those that come to us as a whole family in the beginning of our services.
