Julia Strickland has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julia began their career at KPMG as a Senior Accountant in 1991 and worked there until 1994. Julia then moved on to PeopleWorks, where they served as a Controller from 1994 to 2001. In 2001, Julia joined J.A. Riggs Tractor Company as an Analyst for a year before transitioning to Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C. In this company, they held the role of Business Manager from 2002 to 2018. Currently, Julia is working at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C., where they started as the Chief Operating Officer in 2018 and then became the Chief Financial Officer in 2023.
Julia Strickland has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a field of study in Accounting from the University of Arkansas. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications. Julia became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in October 1992, certified by the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. In May 1998, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Certified Management Accountant institution. Furthermore, in September 2007, they obtained the Certified Legal Manager certification from the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).
