John Woods

John Woods has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John started their career at PwC, Coopers & Lybrand, where they held various roles in Assurance and Audit for five years. In 2000, they joined Mitchells & Butlers and worked in various analyst and accounting roles for five years. After that, they took on the role of Franchise Finance & Commercial Manager for two years, overseeing a portfolio of 100 franchise and lease outlets. John then served as the Head of Divisional Finance, providing analytical and financial support to M&B's City & Country brands. In 2012, they became the Director of Brand Finance, leading a team of Finance Managers to support the Executive Committee. Their most recent role at Mitchells & Butlers was as the Finance Director of Operations, where they led a large team providing financial and analysis support to operations, brand functional specialists, and the Executive Committee.

John Woods completed their secondary education at Stafford Grammar School from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained 3 'A' levels in Economics, English Literature, and History. John then went on to study at the University of Nottingham from 1992 to 1995, earning a BA Hons degree in History.
