Andy Powell

Andy Powell is an experienced Global Training Manager at Mitel since 2017, overseeing training initiatives outside of the Americas. Concurrently, Andy has been with ShoreTel since December 2007, managing international training requirements, course creation, and the International Training Team. Previous roles at ShoreTel include Head of Training EMEA and Team Leader for Sales Engineering EMEA. Prior to this, Andy held the position of Head of Marketing at Siemens, where responsibilities encompassed sales enablement, solution marketing, and management of the UK marketing team. Andy's career also includes significant tenure at NCR as European Marketing Director, focusing on strategy development and marketing communications, as well as a role as Pre Sales Manager at BISS. Beginning as a Telecommunications Officer with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Andy has a strong foundation in various technologies related to telecommunications. Education includes a Marine Radio General Certificate in Marine Electronics & Radar from London Electronics College.
