James Wong

James Wong has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. James began their career at Nortel Networks in 1996, working in research and development until 1997. James then joined BCTel Advanced Communications as a Customer System Engineer in 1998 before transitioning to TELUS in 1999 as a Customer System Engineer. In 2000, they returned to Nortel Networks as an R&D professional until 2002 when they joined Aastra as a Director of Engineering. At Aastra, they held various engineering roles until 2014 when they joined Mitel. At Mitel, they have held multiple positions including Director of Engineering, Director of Product Management (Desktop & Wireless Endpoints), Senior Director of Product Management & Product Ops, Group Director of Product Management & Product Ops, and currently serves as the Vice President of Product Management.

James Wong has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia. James also holds certifications in Cisco CCDA and Cisco CCNA.
