Paul Ginn

Group Director, Product Marketing at Mitel

Paul Ginn has extensive experience in marketing and operations roles in various companies. Paul began their career in 1992 as the Miller Brewing Account Dispatch Manager at Hub Group. Paul then moved on to work at Telstra, where they held roles such as Manager, Mobiles Program Manager, and Senior Manager, Corporate Value Delivery System Manager, Indirect Sales.

In 1999, Ginn joined Nortel as the Senior Manager of CDMA Access Product Marketing, where they supported the market introduction of CDMA basestation products. Paul later became the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations, Enterprise Marketing, leading the annual marketing planning and competitive research analysis.

From 2004 to 2006, Ginn worked as the Director of Technology Development on the Sprint Account Team at Nortel, responsible for introducing new wireless and wireline network technologies to Sprint.

Ginn then joined Avaya in 2009 as the Director of Global Marketing Operations & Research, overseeing the planning, monitoring, and ROI measurement of Avaya's marketing investment. Paul also played a key role in Avaya's acquisition of Nortel's Enterprise.

In 2012, Ginn became the Director of Marketing at APCON, where they built the company's marketing team and developed a comprehensive marketing plan to drive demand generation and brand awareness.

Following their time at APCON, Ginn worked as a Marketing Consultant for Frontier Communications, focusing on marketing planning, strategy implementation, and ROI measurement.

In 2015, Ginn joined Mitel as the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations, responsible for driving long-term business growth and implementing marketing operations. Paul later held various roles at Mitel, including Director of Product Marketing, Director of Product Marketing, Operations, and Competitive, and Director, Marketing Operations & Intelligence.

Currently, Ginn holds the position of Group Director, Product Marketing at Mitel, where they have global product marketing responsibility for Mitel's product portfolio, focusing on go-to-market strategy development and maximizing product positioning and placement.

Paul Ginn earned their BBA & BA in Marketing & Economics from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 1988 to 1991. Paul then pursued an MA in International Management from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, from 1993 to 1994. Paul also completed initial coursework in Economics at the University of Tasmania in 1987.
