Simon Smith

Simon Smith has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering at Mitel since February 2003. In this role, Simon leads a team of Sales Engineers across Canada, aligning their efforts with Mitel's sales objectives and collaborating with executive leadership to foster channel development. Prior positions at Mitel include Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect, where Simon specialized in designing complex voice over IP solutions, and Product Trials Specialist with a focus on Mitel’s UC portfolio. Earlier experience at Nortel Networks involved providing technical support and leading an IT team. Simon graduated from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1997.
