Walter Martins

Walter Martins is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and collaboration software sectors. Currently at Mitel since October 2023, Walter previously held positions at Atos from January 2019 to October 2023, focusing on the design and implementation of emergency text call applications and new features for a PaaS collaboration platform. Prior to Atos, Walter contributed to Unify from 2013 to January 2019, where collaboration with a large team led to the successful development of a WebRTC-based collaboration platform and an Android application for unified communications. Walter's career began at Siemens Communications, where, from 1999 to 2013, management of VoIP server features was key, and earlier at Siemens Argentina from 1992 to 1999, involvement in public telecommunications engineering solidified foundational skills. Walter holds a degree from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
