Adeesha Karunanayaka

Adeesha Karunanayaka is a seasoned data science consultant currently employed at MillenniumIT ESP since August 2021. Previously, Adeesha held the position of Senior Engineer in Data Engineering & Analytics at MillenniumIT from January 2017 to January 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing junior data engineering activities and optimizing data processing pipelines for actionable business insights. Prior to this, Adeesha served as a Data Warehouse Engineer and Database Administrator at Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited from October 2009 to January 2017, focusing on data modeling, ETL processes, and database support. Adeesha began the career as a Software Engineer at the University of Colombo School of Computing from January 2008 to January 2010. Adeesha holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo.
