Keya Lea Arestad

Keya Lea Arestad is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and web development. Currently serving as a Security Architect at MITG since November 2023, Arestad previously held the role of Manager of Threat Research at Sophos, along with two separate tenures as a Security Architect at MITG and a Senior Detection Engineer at Red Canary. Arestad's expertise includes utilizing endpoint telemetry for threat identification and has also involved freelance work in web design and cybersecurity practices for nonprofit organizations. Educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science with a Cyber Security track from Red Rocks Community College and a Teacher Certification in Education from Fort Lewis College.
