Asim Pakhira has a diverse range of work experience. ASIM started their career in 1999 as a Manager at Super Seal India Limited. In 2000, they joined Pix Transmission Limited as a General Manager, where they were responsible for various tasks including new-compound development, product development, new process development, and vendor development. ASIM also had a lead role in a VOC program with Bekaert-India and handled overseas customer technical interaction. In 2012, they joined Gates India Limited as the Head of Factory Technical Services for the first part of the year, and later joined Mithra Group as the VP of Operations.
Asim Pakhira attended Pre University from 1981 to 1986, completing a Higher Secondary (10+2 level) and Secondary (10th level) education. ASIM then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from the University Of Calcutta in India. ASIM further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree from IIT-Kharagpur in India, specializing in Polymer Science & Technology with a specialization in Rubber Technology in 1992.
