Eleftheria Exarchou

Eleftheria Exarchou is a Senior Climate Modeler at Mitiga Solutions since February 2023, with extensive experience in climate modeling and data analysis. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre from November 2015 to February 2023, where responsibilities involved numerical simulations of global climate models, development of an R-package for forecast verification, and leadership of work packages for FP7 and H2020 projects. Eleftheria has also held postdoctoral positions at the IC3 - Catalan Institute of Climate Sciences and the University of Reading, focusing on data analysis and multi-model assessments. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physical Oceanography from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology and Master's degrees from Utrecht University and the University of Crete. Eleftheria has authored and co-authored numerous publications in international journals and actively contributed to scientific communication through posters and presentations at international conferences.
