Ofer Maor

CTO & Co-Founder at Mitiga

Ofer Maor has a long history of working in the technology industry. In 2005, they founded Hacktics Ltd. and served as CTO & Founder, a role in which they were responsible for setting the standard for their services, researching and developing new techniques and new capabilities, and leading all the professional aspects of their activity. In 2011, Hacktics Ltd. was acquired by Ernst & Young. Maor then joined the OWASP Foundation in 2009, where they served as Chairman of OWASP Israel and Global Membership Committee. In 2012, Maor merged Seeker Security, which they had founded in 2011, into Quotium Technologies (NYSE:QTE). As CTO & Co-Founder, they were tasked with leading all technology innovation and vision for Quotium's security business. In 2015, Quotium's Security Solution was acquired by Synopsys (SNPS), and Maor joined Synopsys Inc. as Director of Security Strategy and Director, Solutions Management. In 2016, Maor began working as an Independent Consultant, providing startup advisory services. In 2019, they joined Mitiga as CTO & Co-Founder, and also joined the OWASP Foundation as a Board Member of the Global Board of Directors. In 2021, Maor became an Investor at NeuraLight and an Advisory Board Member at Bright.

Ofer Maor attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Computer Science.
