Ashen Fernando

Ashen Fernando has over a decade of experience in software engineering and architectural roles, currently serving as an Associate Architect at Mitra Innovation since October 2016. Prior positions held at Mitra Innovation include Senior Tech Lead, Tech Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Earlier experience includes various roles at Virtusa from September 2012 to October 2016, such as Associate Consultant and Senior Software Engineer. Ashen began professional training as a Trainee Software Engineer at Aeturnum from July 2010 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster (2009-2012).
