Kithsiri Ekanayake

Kithsiri Ekanayake has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and creative design. Kithsiri currently serves as the Senior User Experience Design Lead at Mitra Innovation since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Creative Design Lead at the same company from October 2019 to October 2021, where they were responsible for multimedia design and production for marketing across various media channels. Before joining Mitra Innovation, Kithsiri worked as a Senior Creative Designer at the company from December 2016 to October 2019.

Before their tenure at Mitra Innovation, Kithsiri worked as a UI Designer at Mitra Innovation from May 2013 to October 2016. Kithsiri also gained experience as a UI Engineer at Softknowedge Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd from August 2011 to April 2013. Their career started at the University of Colombo School of Computing, where they worked as a GUI Designer from November 2010 to August 2011.

Kithsiri's early experience includes working as a Web Designer & Developer at Boston Software (Pvt) Ltd from June 2008 to August 2010.

Kithsiri Ekanayake's education history begins in 2006 when they obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design from Wijeya Graphics (Pvt) Ltd. In 2007, they pursued a Diploma in Advance Multimedia Web Design and Development Techniques at the University of Colombo School of Computing. In 2008 and 2009, Kithsiri completed a Diploma in Information Technology at the same institution. Presently, in 2022, they are enrolled at the AMDT School of Creativity, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned. Apart from their formal education, Kithsiri has also acquired additional certifications, including one as a Tier 1 User Experience Designer (Batch2) and another in the Art of UI Design with Figma, both obtained in 2023.
