Saravanamuthu J has had a long and varied work experience. In 2006, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Midas Communication Technologies. Saravanamuthu then moved to Mani India Technologies in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Later that year, they joined Adea Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2009, they accepted a Senior Software Engineer role at Emirates NBD. In 2011, they took on a Software Specialist role at Valtech. In 2012, they began working as a Senior Software Consultant for INSEAD. Finally, they have been the CTO of MitrahSoft since 2010 and is also the Founder & User Group Manager of the Bangalore ColdFusion user group since 2010.

Saravanamuthu J completed their K12 education at V.O.C Govt. Hr. Sec. School from 1994 to 2001, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science. Saravanamuthu then went on to pursue a B.E in Computer Science and Engineering at National Engineering College from 2001 to 2005.
