Andy Hoopengardner

Andy Hoopengardner is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in analytics and leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist and Group Lead at MITRE since January 2018, Andy previously held positions at PwC, where responsibilities included leading the Advisory Analytics Practice and directing business development within the National Security Practice. Prior roles include progressive positions at PRTM Management Consultants, focusing on the Global Public Sector, and an earlier tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton. Andy began the career as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army. Educational qualifications include a Master of Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University, where Andy also obtained a certificate in Architectural Engineering.
