Arthur Scholz is an experienced professional in the fields of signal processing and materials science, currently serving as the MIT Partnership Lead, NAVWAR and Resilient PNT Group Leader, and Principal Signal Processing Engineer at MITRE since October 2015. Scholz also holds a Visiting Scientist position at the MIT Media Lab. Previously, Scholz worked at Cabot Corporation as a Scientist, specializing in nanoparticle analysis, and gained extensive research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as in visiting researcher roles at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Early career experience includes mechanical engineering support at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and research assistance at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Scholz earned a PhD in Materials Science from UC Santa Barbara and holds a BS in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
