Chris Z. is a seasoned professional with a strong background in policy analysis, research, and education. Currently serving as a Policy Risk & Data Analyst at MITRE since June 2021, Chris Z. has also been involved as a Researcher, Project Co-lead, and Consultant for Innovations for Peace and Development, focusing on international anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism since October 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the Texas Senate, supporting the Committee on Business & Commerce, as well as positions at the University of Texas at Austin as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and with the U.S. Department of State in Public Affairs. Chris Z. holds a Master of Global Policy Studies from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, History, and Education from the University of South Dakota.
