Curtis Harvey

Curtis Harvey is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in systems engineering, flight operations, and avionics compliance. Currently serving as the Lead Aviation Systems Engineer at MITRE since July 2021, Curtis previously held positions at Oasis Systems as an Avionics Engineer, and at BTAS, Inc. and PESystems, Inc. as a Flight Operations Subject Matter Expert, providing operational management for airborne networking assets. Notable past roles include Commander of the USAF's only E-11A flying unit and Instructor Pilot for the T-6 Undergraduate Pilot Training, demonstrating leadership and instructional capabilities. An educator at Daniel Webster College, Curtis also excels in aerospace program management, overseeing AS9100 certification for numerous aerospace clients at TUV Rheinland of North America.
