David D'Auria currently serves as Group Lead and Lead Data Scientist at MITRE since April 2021, previously holding the title of Senior Data Scientist at the same organization. David received the Trailblazer Award for AI Governance and the Catalyst Award for Project Leadership during time at MITRE. Prior to MITRE, David worked as a Senior Research Specialist at Gartner from September 2018 to March 2021, and as a Research Analyst at Economic Consulting from July 2016 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes positions as a Mathematics Research Assistant at American University, Economic Litigation Intern at Nathan Associates Inc., Learning Center Instructor at Mathnasium, and Regulatory Communications Intern at the Connecticut Insurance Department. David holds a General Course degree in Mathematics and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics, graduating Cum Laude with University Honors from American University.
