Eric Wolos

Eric Wolos is an Intermediate Artificial Intelligence Engineer at MITRE, focusing on developing end-to-end LLM pretraining and supervised fine-tuning pipelines. Previously, Eric served as a Laboratory Data Science Intern at UCLA-DOE Institute for Genomics and Proteomics, where automation of data collection was achieved through web scraping and XML parsing. As an Undergraduate Researcher at UCLA, Eric conducted statistical analysis on DNA methylation patterns and applied regression models to predict patient sepsis recurrence. Early experience includes customer service as a Server at Townsquare Diner, where conflict resolution and customer engagement were emphasized. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Systems Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
