Jacob Howard is a Principal Economist at MITRE, where work began in July 2020, following a tenure as Lead Economist. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Part Time Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2014 to July 2020, and as a Graduate Student Assistant in the Helen Hardin Honors Program at the University of Memphis from August 2012 to May 2014. Earlier roles include serving as an Orientation Guide at the University of Memphis from December 2009 to July 2011 and as a staff member for the Boy Scouts of America from May 2004 to July 2008, teaching various merit badges and skills at Skymont Scout Reservation. Jacob Howard holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and both a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, Economics, and Chinese from the University of Memphis.
