Ashley Kersten

Ashley Kersten is a Senior Economist at MITRE, specializing in economic analyses that support projects within federally funded research centers. Prior to this role, Ashley was a Ph.D. Candidate at Harvard Business School, focusing on firm strategy, corporate social responsibility, and global supply chains, utilizing econometric methods to enhance audit quality research. Ashley has also held the position of Senior Research Analyst at The Brattle Group, where analysis of large datasets informed consulting and litigation projects in energy, and previously worked as a Sales and Analytics Intern at Bloomberg LP and as an Intern Budget Specialist at the NJ State Treasury. Ashley holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Villanova University, alongside coursework in economics, finance, and banking at Université de Fribourg.
