Matt Klein

Matt Klein is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in the defense, federal, and technology sectors. Currently serving as Group Lead for Outreach & Engagement at MITRE since April 2024, Matt's role focuses on promoting cybersecurity standards across various industries. Prior to this, Matt held positions including Growth & Communications Lead at CACI International Inc., where strategic communications and growth opportunities were developed for federal programs, and Strategic Communications Specialist at Chenega MIOS SBU, which involved crafting messaging for the Department of Defense's Chemical and Biological Technologies Department. Previous roles also include marketing automation and digital content management positions at Appian Corporation and Booz Allen Hamilton, where Matt implemented impactful digital marketing campaigns and supported internal communications. Matt's early leadership experience includes serving as Student Body President and Class President at James Madison University, where a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing was achieved.
