Matthew Giorgio

Matthew Giorgio is a Systems and Mission Analysis Engineer at MITRE since May 2022. Previous experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at SIG SAUER, Inc. from May to August 2021 and serving as an Undergraduate Astrophysics Researcher at the University of Connecticut, where work focused on identifying binary active galactic nuclei through the spectral energy distribution of black holes. Additional roles include tutoring in the Student Athlete Success Program at the University of Connecticut and an Engineering Internship at STRUCTURAL CONSULTING SERVICES, P.C. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Physics from the University of Connecticut and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, expected to be completed in December 2024.
