Michael Bixler

Michael Bixler, PhD, serves as a Lead Software Systems Engineer at The MITRE Corporation, where extensive experience includes leading software engineering, analysis, and data science projects for various government agencies, utilizing skills in Java, Javascript, Python, and machine learning, among others. Additionally, Michael Bixler has been involved in education since September 2006 at OCVTS, teaching honors-level courses in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science, while coaching a successful Math League team and guiding independent student research projects. Michael Bixler holds a PhD in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Machine Learning, as well as a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Pure and Applied Mathematics, all from Stevens Institute of Technology.
