Mikaela Meyer

Mikaela Meyer, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in statistical analysis and public policy, having served as a Graduate Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2020 to July 2023, where work focused on validating risk assessment instruments and cleaning court data under the guidance of Prof. Alex Chouldechova. Previous roles include a Graduate Research Assistant collaborating with forensic analysts, a Summer Prime Time Banker at Centier Bank, an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Purdue Policy Research Institute, and an Emerging Leaders Data Science Intern at Nielsen. Additionally, Mikaela held positions at the RAND Corporation and the US Government Accountability Office, engaging in significant statistical projects. Currently, as a Data Scientist and Analytics Engineer with MITRE, Mikaela is part of the National Security Accelerator Program, emphasizing a commitment to addressing national security challenges.
