Miles Thompson

Miles Thompson is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, currently serving as the AI Assurance and Discovery Lab Director at MITRE. With a robust career, Miles has held prominent positions such as the AI Assurance Solutions Lead and Autonomy Assurance Work Lead at MITRE, and previously led global autonomous driving validation efforts as a Technical Integration Engineer at General Motors. Miles's extensive experience also includes roles at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where contributions were made as a Senior Robotics Research and Test Engineer, and as a Research Engineer I. Leadership capabilities are demonstrated through roles such as Southeast Regional Vice President for the International Test and Evaluation Association, and as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
