Sabin Ahmed, Ph.D., serves as the Principal Economist and Systems Engineer (Group Leader) at MITRE, leading projects that integrate statistical models and AI to enhance aviation safety and operational efficiency. With extensive expertise in economic forecasting, policy analysis, workforce strategy, and performance measurement, Sabin has held various leadership roles, including Project Leader for Econometric & AI Applications in Aviation and Co-Lead of the Economics, Business, and Investment Analysis Community of Practice. Prior experience includes roles at The World Bank, where Sabin contributed as Principal Economist and Research Economist, and research assistance at George Washington University Law School.
