Su Chen

Su (Sutin) Chen is a highly experienced clinical informaticist and physician currently serving as the Chief of Strategy for the MITRE Standard Health Record Project and the Clinical Lead for the MITRE CC-DIRECT Team. With a background in emergency medicine and extensive expertise in health information technology, Su has directed informatics initiatives for a major healthcare network and has taken leadership roles in the CodeX HL7 FHIR Accelerator to enhance clinical content data standards. Su's previous roles include Chief Medical Information Officer at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center and various Emergency Medicine Physician positions. Su holds an M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
