Travis Yeow is a Senior R&D Engineer at Mitrex, specializing in solar cladding and railings since October 2019. Previously, Travis served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Waterloo from September 2017 to August 2019, where the development of an Atmospheric Pressure Spatial Atomic Layer Deposition machine improved perovskite solar cell stability. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant for several engineering courses, a Research Collaborator at Canadian Solar Inc. focusing on impedance spectroscopy for silicon solar cells, and a Specialty Coatings and Microfabrication Engineer at the National Research Council Canada. Earlier positions include contributions as an Engineering Assistant at Magna Powertrain, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, and a Data Modelling Analyst at Bell. Travis holds a Master's degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (Nano) and a Bachelor's degree in Nanotech Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
