Kei Ohashi

Kei Ohashi is a seasoned professional with expertise in the mineral resources sector, currently serving as the Manager of the Base Metal Department within the Mineral Resources Investment Division at Mitsubishi Corporation since April 2020, overseeing copper asset management in Chile and business development initiatives. Prior to this role, Kei held the position of Marketing Manager at BHP from February 2016 to April 2020, where responsibilities included acting as the principal sales liaison for coal marketing to trading companies across Singapore, Australia, and Japan, along with leading metallurgical coal marketing efforts in China. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd and a staff position at Mitsubishi Corporation, beginning in April 2010. Kei holds a Master’s degree in Frontier Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry, both from The University of Tokyo.
