William Powers III

William Powers III is an experienced automotive professional with a background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as an Automotive Sales Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. since March 2023, William acts as the key engineering liaison for OEM customers. Previously, during tenure at Stellantis from September 2018 to March 2023, William was a Vehicle Cost Engineer responsible for managing project budgets exceeding a billion dollars and collaborating with senior leadership to monitor project performance. Prior experience includes a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where William developed manufacturing investment studies and identified cost drivers. William began career as an Office Assistant at the University of Tulsa and gained banking experience as a Retail Banker at IBC Bank. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa.
