Abduqodir Toychiev is a highly experienced researcher with a background in cell physiology and biophysics. Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America since April 2022, Toychiev previously held roles as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at SUNY Optometry, focusing on neuronal and glial gap junctions in retinal pathophysiology, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Weill Cornell Medicine, where nine peer-reviewed papers were published. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell Physiology from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, a Master's degree in Biophysics, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, all attained from the National University of Uzbekistan. Prior experience also includes teaching and research roles at the National University of Uzbekistan and National Institute for Physiological Sciences.
