Yu Hasegawa

Yu Hasegawa has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2009 to 2019, Yu worked at Astellas Pharma, starting as an Associate in Clinical Development and progressing to roles such as Senior Associate in Asian Clinical Development and Senior Associate in CSR and Corporate Planning. In 2016, Yu became an Associate Manager in Global Health, Healthcare Policy & CSR and then moved to the role of Associate Manager in Portfolio Management, Product & Portfolio Strategy in 2017.

In 2019, Yu joined Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co., Ltd as the Deputy General Manager in the Social Impact Partnership Department. Later on, Yu became the Deputy Head of the Center on Global Health Architecture, where they focus on improving access to health for everyone through the development of health systems, infrastructure, and the global health workforce.

Yu Hasegawa completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Structural Biology at Kyoto University.
