Slater Traaen is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in asset management, leasing, and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Avenue of the Americas Association since October 2022, Slater is involved in civic improvement initiatives supporting New York City. At Mitsui Fudosan America since 2019, Slater focuses on asset management and leasing for one of Japan's largest real estate firms. Previous experience includes a Vice President position at Macquarie Group's MIRA Real Estate Group (2017-2019), asset management roles at Treeview Real Estate Advisors (2011-2017) and Kaufman Organization (2009-2011), and earlier roles at Conquest Advisors and Cushman & Wakefield. Slater holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and further education from NYU School of Professional Studies.
