Tim Saxton is a highly experienced software engineer with an extensive background in developing and enhancing software systems across various industries. Currently, Tim serves as a Software Engineer at Miura Systems, focusing on evolving the Miura Operating System and applications for card payment and POS devices. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Ultra Electronics, where Tim developed real-time ship's data distribution systems using C++ on Linux, and Senior Development Engineer at Quantel, working on embedded systems for A/V broadcast servers. Additional experience includes contract work at Newport Networks and a tenure as a Firmware Engineer at Marconi Communications. Tim holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
