Mayra Contreras

Mayra Contreras has been working in the engineering and medical fields since 2011. Her work experience includes a Medical Technician at Seaside Terrace from 2011 to 2014, Vice President of Associated Students of Moorpark College (ASMC) from 2014 to 2019, Engineering Team Lead at UCI Samueli School of Engineering from 2019 to 2020, Frontend Developer at FRESH Basic Needs Hub from 2020 to 2021, and Research and Development Engineer at both MIVI Neuroscience, Inc and Vena Vitals from 2021. At UC Irvine, they were a Research Fellow in Data Management and a Research Student in Digital Signal Processing Engineering. Her roles have involved tasks such as designing prototypes, creating scripts, conducting experiments, and developing user-friendly websites.

Mayra Contreras has an education history that includes a Master of Engineering - MEng in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine (2020-2021), a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine (2017-2020), and an Associate of Science - AS in Math, Biological and Physical Sciences from Moorpark College (2013-2016).
