Joan O’Callaghan

He received a Telecommunication Engineering degree from the UPC and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is currently a Full Professor with UPC. He was an intern with the Systems Research Center, Honeywell, Bloomington, MN, where he was involved with noise measurement methods for field-effect transistors (FETs) at Ka-band. His research interests include microwave devices and materials, microwave photonics, and microwave biomedical applications.
